FAM’s overriding objective is the practical implementation of it product developments, always after taking operating efficiency and user-friendliness into account. The every-more-important issue of energy efficiency is likewise being given greater attention.

Depending on its supply pipe conduit and the downstream cleaning unit available, the reject pump is operated by an N=30/37/45 kW electric motor.

Power is transmitted via a V-belt drive or geared motor.

In the area of paper manufacture, users operate on an energy-cost proportion of approximately €600 per kW year (based on approx. 8,000 operating hours per year).

Every kWh saved is reflected in the energy balance.
